THE NEW SPORTIME AT RANDALL'S ISLAND IS FINALLY A REALITY! On June 30, 2009, SPORTIME unveiled the largest and finest tennis facility to open in NYC in the past 30 years! Our $16 million facility, now open to the public, has immediately become New York City's premier tennis destination.
The new SPORTIME at Randall's Island features 160,000 square feet of tennis courts and support facilities, including a total of 20 courts: 10 Deco-Turf hard tennis courts and 10 Har-Tru clay tennis courts. A stunning building designed by award winning architects, houses 5 hard courts, year round, as well as a beautiful clubhouse. The other 5 hard courts and the 10 clay tennis courts are housed in three state-of-the-art air structures during the indoor season, and are available for outdoor play during the outdoor season. 5 hard and 5 Har-Tru courts will be lighted for outdoor evening play. 20,000 square feet of 5-star support facilities, and amenities, include:
- Training and Fitness center
- Comfortable lounge areas with excellent viewing
- Spacious, adult-only locker rooms, including steam, sauna and treatment areas
- Pro shop featuring top brands and 24-hour stringing

SPORTIME at Randall's Island is open year round, every day:
- Weekends: 7:00am to 11:00pm
- Saturdays & Sundays: 7:00am to 10:00pm
On holidays, our hours of operation are:
- Thanksgiving Day: 7am to 3pm
- Christmas Eve: 7am to 4pm
- Christmas Day: 9am to 5pm
- New Year's Eve: 7am to 4pm
- New Year's Day: 9am to 5pm
- Easter Sunday: 9am to 5pm
- Memorial Day: 8am to 8pm
- Independence Day: 8am to 8pm
- Labor Day: 8am to 8pm
Directions:
From Long Island: Take the Grand Central Parkway to the TriBorough Bridge. Stay in the right lane and exit for Randall’s Island, after the tolls. Once on Randall’s Island, follow the signs for the Tennis Center. From NYC: Take the FDR Drive to the TriBorough Bridge. Continue as above. By Public Transportation: Take the M35 bus at 125th Street.
